Second entry in a series of three aspects I’ve been particularly proud of this year: Having a fantastic team of Ph.D. students in the group from the Graduate Center’s Ph.D. programs in Biochemistry and Biology: Jim Xu, Roksana Azad, Matt Cleere, Danielle Swingle, Jimmy Siclari, Tarsisius Tiyani, and Joey Closson (all detailed here). Great to see some kudos for the veterans – including Jim X’s Horst Schulz Biochemistry Award and Mina Rees dissertation fellowship, conference travel support and speaking spots for Roksana and Matt – coupled with Dani and Jimmy making great progress while mentoring new students and having Tarsisius and Joey join us as new arrivals. Looking forward to where we go in 2023!
